The Role

Located in Swan Hill this position reports directly to the General Manager and is an integral part of the senior leadership team. Responsible for circa 90 FTE staff across multiple sites this position oversees Production, Logistics and Warehousing, Procurement, WHS and Quality Assurance.

The Operations Manager will;

  • Managing teams to deadlines and towards future production orders.
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Develop strong relationships with employees and managers alike to foster motivation and teamwork. 
  • Optimise business functionality by making process improvements and managing quality assurance programs.
  • Business administration tasks such as handling organisational processes and managing inventory and data collection.
  • Oversee financial management, planning systems and controls
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are maintained and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

You will have

  • 5+ Years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role
  • Sound financial and analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage, Influence and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions to achieve operational outcomes.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills that can influence strategic development, organisational change and ensure successful outcomes
  • Effective time management with the ability to work well under pressure and complete multiple tasks to deadline
