Chemical Dosing Cabinets
Dosing equipment left out in the weather doesn’t last, and dosing equipment anyone can walk up to isn’t safe. A cabinet solves both.
Polymaster chemical dosing cabinets are moulded from UV-stabilised polyethylene, lockable, and fitted with clear viewing panels so operators can check the system without opening the doors. Single and double door options, supplied as a stand alone unit or mounted to a self-bunded tank.
A cabinet, or the whole dosing system
You can take the cabinet on its own and fit it out yourself, or have us build the complete system inside it before it ships. Most customers land somewhere in between.
- Stand alone cabinet. The enclosure, the backboard and the doors. You supply the pumps, pipework and controls.
- Fitted out. We install the pipework and valves to your configuration, in PVC, PE or stainless steel.
- Complete package. Instrumentation, power control panel, pipework and valves, dosing pumps and a weatherproof connection point, assembled and tested before it leaves the factory.
- Mounted to a tank. The cabinet attaches to the side of a Polymaster self-bunded tank, so storage and dosing arrive as one unit.

Chemical resistant throughout

Weatherproof outdoors
Built to sit outside in Australian conditions. The enclosure keeps rain off the pumps, instrumentation and control panel without needing a shed built around it.
Lockable doors
Every cabinet locks. That keeps dosing equipment away from anyone who has no business adjusting it, and keeps the chemical connection points secure.
Clear viewing panels
Operators can check pumps, gauges and pipework at a glance with the doors closed. In an incident, the panels keep spray off the operator while they assess what’s happening.
Wide opening access
Double doors open right back for full access to everything inside. Servicing, calibration and pump changes happen from outside the cabinet, not by reaching around obstructions.
Configurable backboard and pipework
HDPE backboard with pipework configured to the application in PVC, PE or stainless steel. Sized to suit the pumps you’re running.
Forklift channels and lifting lugs
Moulded-in forklift channels on the double door cabinets and lifting lugs for craning into position. The cabinet arrives assembled and gets placed in one lift.

What goes inside a dosing cabinet
That’s up to you. Cabinets are supplied bare for customers who want to fit them out themselves, or built up to whatever the application needs. There’s no standard configuration, because no two dosing installations are the same.
A fitted-out cabinet might run one, two or three dosing pumps, mounted to an HDPE backboard with +GF+ schedule 80 pipework and valves. Around them sit the components the duty calls for: ball valve isolators, pressure gauge, back pressure valve, pressure relief valve, junction box, and instrumentation or a power control panel where the system needs one. The pipework layout is configured so operators have clear access to every component for adjustment, calibration and inspection.
Where the cabinet mounts to a self-bunded tank, the arrangement extends to the drain camlock and bund drain, with the high trimmed door giving access to the bund volume. Closed head drums can sit within the same footprint for smaller dosing duties. Pipework is designed around the Grundfos DDA range in both AR and FCM models, and the larger V2 cabinet takes up to three DDA7.5 pumps.

Chemical dosing cabinet questions
What’s the difference between the three cabinets?
The single door cabinet (CAB-SDASY-CL) has the smallest footprint at 1065 x 950mm and suits simpler installations. The standard double door (CAB-DDASYDOSYEL) is 1450 x 950mm and opens right back for full access. The V2 double door (CAB-V2-DDASYDOSYEL) is the largest at 1905 x 1100mm and 2335mm high, with room for up to three DDA7.5 pumps.
Can I buy the cabinet on its own?
Yes. Cabinets are regularly supplied bare for customers who want to fit them out themselves or already have the dosing equipment. We can also supply them fitted with pipework and valves, or as a complete package with pumps, instrumentation and a power control panel installed and tested before it ships.
Can the chemical dosing cabinet be mounted to a tank?
Yes. The cabinet attaches to the side of a Polymaster self-bunded tank, so chemical storage and dosing arrive as a single unit with one supplier behind it. It also works as a stand alone unit if the tank is already on site.
What pipework material is used?
PVC, PE or stainless steel, configured to the chemical. The standard fit-out uses +GF+ schedule 80 pipework and valves, laid out so every component stays accessible for adjustment and calibration.
Can a chemical dosing cabinet be used outside?
Yes. The cabinet is moulded from UV-stabilised polyethylene and designed to sit outdoors in Australian conditions. It keeps rain off the pumps, instrumentation and control panel, and being poly throughout there’s nothing to corrode.
Can operators see inside the cabinet without opening the doors?
Yes, that’s what the viewing panels are for. Operators check pumps, gauges and pipework at a glance with the doors closed and locked. In an incident, the panels also keep spray off the operator.
How is the cabinet moved and installed?
The double door cabinets have moulded forklift channels and lifting lugs, so the unit is placed in one lift and arrives assembled. Lifting lugs and an HDPE backboard are optional on the single door cabinet.
How many pumps does a cabinet hold?
It depends on the cabinet and the pumps. Configurations run from a single pump through to three, and the V2 cabinet takes up to three DDA7.5 units. Tell us how many pumps you need to run and what else has to sit alongside them, and we’ll tell you which cabinet takes it.
What dosing pumps does it suit?
The pipework is designed around the Grundfos DDA range, in both AR and FCM models. If you’re running something else, tell us the model and we’ll configure the backboard and pipework to suit. The cabinet itself is pump agnostic, so the constraint is space rather than brand.
