What are Polymaster plumbing storage solutions made from?
Polymaster tanks are manufactured from food-grade polyethylene, certified to AS/NZS 4020 (the Australian Standard for products in contact with drinking water) and made with an exclusive UV+ double-strength resin for added protection against Australia’s harsh conditions. They are also BPA-free.
What certifications and standards do Polymaster tanks meet?
Polymaster holds ISO 9001 certification for quality management and manufactures to AS/NZS 4766:2020, the Australian Standard for polyethylene storage tanks (Licence no. BMP657671 and BMP650824). Water tanks are certified to AS/NZS 4020 for drinking water contact, and the 1546 standard for septic tanks.
Do you deliver plumbing supply tanks across Australia?
Yes. All products can be delivered throughout Australia. Polymaster offers free delivery to site throughout most of Victoria, South Australia and parts of New South Wales and Queensland for tanks exceeding 13,000L (within Zone 1). Tanks under 13,000L are delivered free to store within Zone 1, with a delivery fee to site. Call 1800 062 064 for a quote on deliveries outside nominated zones.
What site preparation is needed before a tank is delivered?
The site must be firm, level and flat. A concrete pad or a well-compacted sand base 75 mm-100 mm deep is recommended. Other suitable bases include crushed dust or consolidated fill, free of rocks, stones or sharp objects. The base should extend 600mm beyond the tank’s diameter. It is the owner’s responsibility to provide clear access to the site and to position and connect the tank.
What access do your delivery trucks need?
Clearance required for the truck and trailer is 9m long, 5m high and 3.5m wide – longer than a semi-trailer. If the driver cannot reach the desired location, the tank will be left in the closest and safest location deemed possible by the driver. Large or bulky products require a lifting device (such as a forklift) to unload, which is not supplied by the driver.
