Portable Diesel Ute Packs
Purpose-built for farms, fleets, and remote sites where diesel needs to travel with you.
Constructed from European diesel-grade polyethylene specifically engineered to prevent leaching — standard PE allows diesel to seep through the walls over time; Polymaster’s high-grade material does not.
Available from 100L to 800L, including the Cube format which fits all current ute models including twin cabs, with built-in forklift channels for easy handling.
Fully complies with AS1940-2017 and AS2809.2-2008.
Industry first: Polymaster was the first manufacturer to introduce the Bunded Ute Pack with integrated 35L AdBlue reservoir — keeping DEF equipment running in the field without a separate container.

Bulk Transfer Units
Engineered to service heavy plant and machinery in the field.
Transfer units are skid-mounted, can be strapped or pin-mounted to vehicles, and feature moulded internal baffles for vehicle stability.
Standard configuration includes a 50LPM Italian pump, lockable filling port, certified diesel-grade cross-linked polyethylene, and UV protection. Pump options span 12V, 24V, and 240V.

Bulk Storage Tanks
For sites with an existing earth or concrete bund already in place, Polymaster’s single-wall bulk storage tanks are an ideal, cost-effective solution.
Certified to AS/NZS 4766 in accordance with AS1940-2017, each unit comes loaded with standard features including a 50mm camlock for quick tanker connection, mechanical overfill protection, a clock gauge level indicator, earthing rod, roof breather vents, and UV protection.

Self-Bunded Dieselmaster Tanks
Where no existing bund infrastructure is in place, the self-bunded range provides built-in secondary containment compliant with AS1940-2017.

BULK DIESEL STORAGE
Single-Wall Bulk Storage Tanks - Built for Sites with Existing Bund Infrastructure
If your site already has an earth or concrete bund in place, Polymaster’s single-wall bulk storage tanks are the most cost-effective way to store large volumes of diesel. Purpose-built and certified to AS/NZS 4766 in accordance with the AS1940-2017 standard for inner storage tanks, these units come ready to use straight off the shelf.

The Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids
5.8.1 Requirements – Provision shall be made to contain any leakage or spillage from the tank storage facility and to prevent it from contaminating the surrounding soil or from entering any watercourse or water drainage system. Any above-ground tank shall be installed within a compound, except where the quantity of liquid stored is within that allowable as minor storage in Table 2.1, or where the tank has integral secondary containment complying with Clause 5.9.
5.8.2 Capacity – The net capacity of a compound shall be at least 110% of the capacity of the largest tank or 25% of the total capacity of all tanks within the bund, whichever is the greater. If two or more tanks are operated as a single unit, the capacity of all such tanks shall be used when calculating the capacity of the compound.
5.8.3 Design and construction – A compound and its associated bund shall comply with the following requirements: (a) It shall be sufficiently impervious to retain spillage and to enable recovery of any such spillage. Buried HDPE, geosynthetic clay liners, concrete or other equivalent materials are deemed to be suitable.

Most polyethylene tanks are suitable for holding diesel, but it is the how and where of storage that determines the right configuration. Australian Standard AS1940 outlines the requirements. Polymaster’s diesel range uses European diesel-grade polyethylene specifically engineered to prevent leaching – standard PE allows diesel to seep through the walls over time; Polymaster’s high-grade material does not. Can diesel be stored in a poly tank?

Which is better - poly or steel fuel tanks?
Poly diesel tanks are lighter, corrosion-resistant, and more cost-effective than steel, making them ideal for farms, fleets, and remote sites. Steel remains preferred for some very large-capacity or underground installations, but poly is often the more practical and affordable choice for above-ground diesel storage.
How long do poly fuel tanks last?
With proper care and installation, Polymaster’s poly diesel tanks are designed for a 25-year service life. They are engineered to withstand UV exposure and resist rust, providing a reliable long-term storage solution.
Can you store diesel for 5 years?
Diesel naturally degrades over time. Storage beyond 12 to 18 months requires fuel stabilisers and maintenance to prevent algae growth or contamination. A quality Polymaster tank, combined with proper care, helps extend storage life by protecting the fuel from UV exposure and contamination.
What chemicals can be stored in your tanks?
There are over 1,935 chemicals that can be stored in a Polymaster tank, including diesel, AdBlue, liquid fertiliser, and many more. Our tanks are manufactured from polyethylene (PE), which has excellent chemical resistance across a wide range of substances.
