These are the pumps, kits, screens and fittings built to work with Polymaster liquid fertiliser tanks. Specified together, delivered together, and matched to the tank rather than sourced separately and hoped for.

Chemical Transfer Pump, 6.5hp
Honda and Onga, 750 litres a minute at up to 40 metres of head. The pump we recommend for the venturi setup on fertigation tanks, and the one most people use for tank to tank transfer.
Top Fill Kit
A 2 inch stainless steel camlock with ball valve, so you can fill from the top without climbing the tank. Standard on the self-draining range, optional on flat bottom tanks.
Poly Riser Screen, 300mm
Sits in the sump and keeps debris out of the outlet. Suits fertigation and aquaculture tanks from 500L to 9,000L.

Fittings, valves and level indicators for liquid fertiliser tanks
Beyond the items above, Polymaster supplies the fit-out components that go on a liquid fertiliser tank: threaded outlets and camlocks in 2 inch and 3 inch, ball valves, breather and overflow assemblies, and the Liquidator true level indicator. Outlets can be upgraded from the standard 2 inch to 3 inch where you need faster transfer.

Why the fittings matter as much as the tank
Fertiliser is hard on the wrong materials
Liquid fertiliser corrodes fittings that were never specified for it. Stainless steel camlocks and ball valves, and poly components throughout, mean the connections last as long as the tank does.
Specific gravity changes the sums
Liquid fertiliser is heavier than water. Polymaster fertiliser tanks are built for liquids up to 1.5SG, and the fittings are matched to suit. A pump or a fitting sized for water is sized wrong.
Matched to the tank, not adapted to it
These accessories are designed around Polymaster tanks, so the outlet sizes, the sump and the riser screen all line up. No adaptors, no improvising on site.

Which pump suits a liquid fertiliser tank?
The 6.5hp chemical transfer pump (HTP750VR) is the one we supply as standard. Honda and Onga, 750 litres a minute at up to 40 metres of head, with 50mm inlet and outlet. It’s the recommended pump for the venturi agitation setup on fertigation tanks, and it handles tank to tank transfer as well. Other pumps aren’t stocked as standard, but we can order one in if your setup needs something different.
Can I add a top fill kit to a tank I already have?
Yes. The top fill kit (LFTK) is optional on flat bottom liquid fertiliser tanks and suits the self-draining range as well, which comes with one fitted as standard. It’s a 2 inch stainless steel camlock with a ball valve, so you’re filling from the top without climbing the tank.
What does the poly riser screen do?
It sits in the sump and keeps debris out of the outlet. On a fertigation or aquaculture tank with a sloping base, everything works its way down to the sump, and the screen stops it going any further. The 300mm screen (APRS) suits tanks from 500L to 9,000L.
Can I upgrade the outlet size?
Yes. The standard outlet on a liquid fertiliser tank is 50mm (2 inch), and a 3 inch upgrade is available with a matching ball valve and camlock. Worth doing if you’re transferring large volumes and want to cut fill and empty times.
What fittings come as standard on a liquid fertiliser tank?
Flat bottom tanks come with a 50mm threaded outlet, ball valve and camlock, a level indicator and an inspection cover. Self-draining tanks add the top fill kit, a sight tube level indicator, a 90mm overflow and breather with mesh screen, and a 600mm vented screw lid.
Are the fittings suitable for liquid fertiliser?
Yes. The camlocks and ball valves on liquid fertiliser tanks are stainless steel, and the tank itself is built for liquids up to 1.5 specific gravity. Fertiliser is corrosive, so this is the part worth getting right rather than adapting general purpose fittings.
