Chemical Pumping Controls

Polymaster chemical pumping controls are purpose-built for the safe, automated management and transfer of chemicals in industrial, water treatment and commercial applications. The range covers the Multifunctional Controller, the Chemical Transfer Station and the Chemical Unloading Station.

Each system automates chemical handling, minimises manual intervention, and reduces the risk of spills, overfills and equipment damage.

Chemical Pumping Controls for Safe and Automated Chemical Management

The range centres on the Multifunctional Controller. It is the core control component in both the Chemical Transfer Station and the Chemical Unloading Station, and it is designed to integrate into a wide range of industrial applications where chemicals, wastewater and other substances have to move safely from one place to another.

  • Automated control. Chemical transfer processes run automatically, which minimises manual intervention and improves operational efficiency.
  • Advanced safety systems. Built-in alarms, emergency stop functions and dual redundancy sensors reduce the risk of overfills, spills and equipment damage.
  • Remote monitoring and control. Multiple interface outputs allow operators to monitor and control the system remotely, with real-time data access supporting proactive maintenance.
  • Customisable and expandable. The controller can be configured with pumps, cabinets and piping to suit the site. Future software upgrades extend its capability further.

Chemical Pumping Controls Range Overview

There are three products in the range, each built around the Multifunctional Controller. The controller can be supplied on its own for integration into an existing system, or as part of a complete transfer or unloading station.

Estimation and Engineering

Specifying a control system is a site-specific exercise. Our team works through the chemical, the transfer volumes, the power available and the site layout, then configures the right system around them.

Automated Chemical Transfer

Transfers run automatically to programmed levels, which removes the manual steps where most handling errors occur.

Advanced Safety Systems

Built-in alarms and emergency stop functions protect operators, plant and stored chemicals.

Remote Monitoring and Control

Multiple interface outputs give operators real-time visibility of the system without standing in front of it.

Built to AS 3780:2023 Standards

The Chemical Unloading Station is built to AS 3780:2023, the Australian standard for the storage and handling of corrosive substances.

Dual Redundancy Sensors

Critical level sensing is duplicated, so a single sensor failure does not become an overfill.

Three Phase and Single Phase Power

Systems can be configured for either supply, so the control system suits the site rather than the site having to suit the control system.

Customisable and Expandable

Pumps, cabinets and piping are configured to the application, and the system can be extended as the site changes.

Australian Made

Designed, manufactured and supported in Australia, with local technical backup.

Chemical Pumping Controls for Industrial and Water Treatment Applications

The Chemical Transfer Station automates the movement of chemicals between storage vessels. Programmable refill levels and automated pump controls keep vessel levels where they need to be without an operator managing each transfer, and early warning alarms give notice before a vessel reaches capacity. That combination suits chemical plants and industrial operations where levels need constant monitoring and where manual handling is the thing you want least of.

The Chemical Unloading Station handles the other end of the process, moving chemical from a delivery truck into storage. Built to AS 3780:2023, it combines a large HMI display showing tank level radar readings with beacon and buzzer alarms, an alarm reset button and automatic power cut-off, all housed in a spill-resistant double door cabinet. Remote monitoring means the transfer can be watched from elsewhere on site. It suits industrial facilities taking frequent bulk chemical deliveries, where unloading is routine, and the consequences of getting it wrong are not.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About Chemical Pumping Controls

The Multifunctional Controller uses built-in alarms, emergency stop functions and dual redundancy sensors, so a single sensor failure does not lead to an overfill. On the Chemical Unloading Station, these are supported by automatic power cut-off, beacon and buzzer alarms, and a spill-resistant double door cabinet that contains any release at the control point.

Yes. The Multifunctional Controller offers multiple interface outputs, which allow operators to monitor and control the system remotely and to receive alarm conditions in real time.

The Chemical Transfer Station moves chemical between storage vessels on site, using programmable refill levels to keep those vessels topped up automatically. The Chemical Unloading Station moves chemical from a delivery truck into storage, and is built to AS 3780:2023 with an HMI display, radar tank level readings and automatic power cut-off. Both are built around the same Multifunctional Controller.

Yes. The controller can be configured with pumps, cabinets and piping to suit the application, and custom configuration is available on request across the range. Our team works through the chemical, the transfer volumes, the available power supply and the site layout before specifying the system.
