Both form factors are single-walled, pump-free storage solutions. The choice comes down to your site layout and available footprint.
Slimline Tanks - 2,000L to 5,000L
The slimline range has a rectangular, narrow-profile footprint. At 750mm wide for the 2,000L model and 1,170mm for the 5,000L, these tanks fit neatly against a wall, fence, or beside existing equipment. All three sizes share the same 2,110mm height, making them easy to work with on standard sites. They include a 2-inch stainless steel drybreak and pipework, external liquid level indicator, mechanical overfill protection, earthing rod, breather vents, and inspection hatch. The BMSL5000-C cabinet variant is the slimline 5,000L fitted with a lockable cabinet housing a 32LPM Piusi 240V pump, digital flow meter, 5-metre hose, and auto-shutoff nozzle – a complete dispenser setup in one unit.
Typical applications: adding bulk storage to a site with an existing pump and dispenser, sites where the dispensing setup is centralised, or situations where a custom pump configuration is required.
Round Tanks - 2,000L to 10,000L
The round range follows the standard Polymaster poly tank profile. These are suited to sites with more open space that are already familiar with the round tank format, or where the site already has a pump setup and simply needs bulk storage capacity. The same stainless steel drybreak, external level indicator, overfill protection, and earthing rod are included as standard.

Preparing Your Site
Truck and trailer clearance required is 19 metres long, 5 metres high, and 3.5 metres wide. Check for low branches or powerlines on your access route and ensure your gate and entrance can accommodate a 19m truck and trailer. A flat, clear area of at least 5 metres by 5 metres is required for unloading. Our logistics team will contact you approximately seven days before delivery to confirm your address and access requirements.

What is a single-walled DEF tank for AdBlue®?
A single-walled Def tank for AdBlue® is a standard polyethylene storage vessel with a single poly wall – no built-in bund or secondary containment. Polymaster’s BMSL slimline and BMS round tanks are storage-only units: you fill them from an AdBlue® delivery vehicle and dispense using your own pump setup or an external Piusi pump. The BMSL5000-C cabinet model is the exception, with a factory-fitted 32LPM Piusi pump and full dispensing setup included.
Do single-walled tanks require a separate bund?
Single-walled Def tanks for AdBlue® do not include a built-in bund. Depending on your site requirements, local regulations, and environmental risk assessment, you may need to install a bunded bay or containment system. If you need built-in secondary containment, Polymaster’s self-bunded BMDS bunded station range includes 110% bund capacity as standard and is available in the same capacity range.
What is the difference between the slimline and round models?
The slimline range (BMSL) has a rectangular, narrow-profile footprint designed to fit against walls, fences, and in tight spaces. The round range (BMS) follows the standard round poly tank profile. Both are single-walled, pump-free storage units with the same core inclusions. Choose slimline for space-constrained sites; choose round where a wider footprint is acceptable, and the round format suits your existing setup.
What pump do I need for a tank-only model?
Polymaster’s tank-only slimline and round Def tank models for AdBlue® (BMSL2000, BMSL3000, BMSL5000, BMS2000RPB, BMS4000RPB) are storage vessels only. You will need a separate Piusi AdBlue® pump, hose, and nozzle to dispense from the tank. What is included with the BMSL5000-C cabinet model?
The BMSL5000-C is the 5,000L slimline tank with a factory-fitted lockable cabinet housing a complete dispensing setup: 32LPM Piusi AdBlue® pump (240V), power control panel with emergency stop, auto timeout, high/low level alarms, digital flow meter, 5-metre hose, auto-shutoff nozzle and holster, and a 50mm stainless steel drybreak fill fitting. It is a complete fill-and-dispense unit in a single slimline footprint.

Yes. All Polymaster single-walled Def tanks for AdBlue® are manufactured from UV-stabilised polyethylene suitable for outdoor installation in harsh UV environments, including coastal locations. They are designed and manufactured in Australia for Australian conditions.
