Leaktite Valve Guard

How do you prevent chemical tank fittings from leaking?
Start with a fitting specified for the chemical and the pressure, then manage the load at the tank wall with a stiffening cone on larger connections. For the outlet itself, the Leaktite Valve Guard encapsulates the valve in a sealed housing inside the bund, so anything that does escape at the valve is captured and contained rather than released to the environment.
What is the Leaktite Valve Guard and why does it matter?
The Leaktite Valve Guard isolates the tank outlet within the bund, which is what AS 3780:2023 requires. It includes an external handle for operating the ball valve without opening the housing, a removable lid for servicing and inspection, and a drain port for emptying the bund safely before maintenance. Integrated flexible bellows accommodate tank wall movement as the tank fills and empties, which removes stress from the outlet pipe weld.
What type of level indicator is safest for hazardous chemical tanks?
