Unilever makes some of the best known brands globally and their roots reach back to the 19th century. On any day, 2 billion people use Unilever products to look good, feel good and get more out of life. Unilever’s purpose as a business is ‘making sustainable living commonplace’ and their range of great products from more than 400 brands gives Unilever a unique place in the lives of people all over the world.
CLIENT REQUIREMENT
Unilever’s Shepparton factories had the potential to harvest massive amounts of rainwater, and with their sustainable growth plans, Unilever wanted to take full advantage of this precious resource but needed to minimise the land area this would require.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
To exploit their rainwater harvesting potential, Unilever Shepparton required up to 200,000L of water storage. One of Polymaster’s loyal distributors found that the Mega Tank met this nicely, needing only four water tanks, which reduced onsite installation and set-up costs, and the added benefit of one of the smallest footprints in the industry for the litrage.
