What We Carry
Pumps
Garden pumps, household pressure pumps and submersible pumps with press control, including rain to mains changeover systems. Pump covers to match.
Brass Tank Outlets and Ball Valve Taps
Outlets and valves from 25mm through to 100mm, in brass, stainless steel, polypropylene and PVC. Upgrade paths if you need more flow than the standard outlet gives you.
Manhole Covers and Strainers
Inspection covers from 200mm to 600mm, screw lids vented and non-vented, hinged lids with breathers, and water entry covers. Strainers and sieves to suit each opening.
Filters and Water Diverters
Vortex self-cleaning filters, fine filters, tank inlet filters, leaf eaters and first flush diverters, plus in-line filter housings. Keeps debris out before it reaches the water.
Level Indicators
Dipstick indicators, float level indicators, clear sight tubes with isolation valves, and mounts for ultrasonic level sensors. Know what is in the tank without climbing it.
Fittings and Connections
Threaded tank fittings, BSP adaptors, thread adapters and swivels. The parts that connect a tank to everything else.
Overflows, Vents and Internal Pipework
Overflow vents, mushroom vents, anti-vortex suction assemblies and internal pipework. Air in, water out, no vortex at the outlet.
Hose and Reels
Retractable hose reels and hose by the metre, for washdown and transfer where you need reach.

Why the fit-out matters
Outlet size decides flow
A 25mm outlet and a 50mm outlet fill a trough at very different rates. Getting it right at order time costs nothing. Changing it later means draining the tank.
Filtration decides water quality
What gets into the tank determines what comes out of it. Leaf diverters, inlet filters and self-cleaning vortex filters each handle a different part of that job.
Access decides maintenance
An inspection cover sized for the job is the difference between cleaning a tank properly and not cleaning it at all.

Accessory Questions
Can I see a full list of accessories?
Not on this page, and deliberately so. The range runs to several hundred items across fittings, valves, covers, filters, indicators and pumps, and most fit-outs are specified against a particular tank and application rather than picked from a list. Tell us the tank and what you need it to do and we will put the right fit-out together.
What comes as standard on a Polymaster tank?
That depends on the tank. Rainwater tanks come with an outlet, a ball valve and an inlet strainer as standard. Chemical and industrial tanks come with a threaded outlet, ball valve, level indicator and inspection cover. Anything beyond standard is an accessory.
Can I upgrade the outlet size?
Yes. Upgrade paths run from 25mm through to 100mm, with the valve and fittings matched to suit. Worth doing at order time, because changing an outlet on a tank already in service means draining it first.
Can I add accessories to a tank I already have?
In many cases yes, depending on the accessory and the tank. Covers, filters, level indicators and pumps are usually straightforward. Anything that involves cutting or welding into the tank wall needs a conversation first.
Do you supply pumps?
Yes. Garden pumps, household pressure pumps with rain to mains changeover, and submersible pumps with press control. Pumps carry the manufacturer’s warranty rather than a Polymaster warranty, since they are made by others.
What level indicator options are there?
A dipstick indicator for a simple manual reading, a float level indicator you can read from a distance, a clear sight tube with an isolation valve, or a mount for an ultrasonic sensor if the level needs to feed into a control system.
What is a vortex filter and do I need one?
A self-cleaning filter that sits in the inlet line and separates debris from the water using the flow itself, rather than a screen that needs clearing. Worth it where the tank is being fed from a roof with significant leaf load and you would rather not be climbing up to clean a strainer.
