All lamb feeders use lamb teats, which are a different shape to the peach teats on the calf range. Teat caps unscrew for washing out, and the multi-teat feeders come with galvanised hanging brackets. The footbaths control hoof disease in sheep and goats, with the standing type suited to a portable yard and the race type designed to drop into a sheep race.

Internal divisions hold a set amount behind each teat. The strong lambs can’t work along the rail taking everyone else’s, and the weak ones still get fed.
Slow suckling cuts scours
Drawing milk through a teat takes longer than drinking from a trough. That lifts saliva and helps the milk reach the right stomach, which brings the scours risk down.
Even growth across the mob
When every lamb gets the same feed, they come through the rearing weeks at a similar weight rather than splitting into strong and weak.

A Closer Look at Polymaster Lambing Products
Choosing a sheep footbath: standing or race type
Both baths treat hoof disease in sheep and goats, both have a non slip dimpled floor, and both link end to end for a longer run. They suit different setups.
Race type (RFRB)
2400 x 480mm and holds up to 80 litres. Sized to drop into a sheep race so stock walk through as they’re worked. A pyramid rib runs down the centre of the trough, which keeps hooves either side and cuts the volume of solution needed, and it adds strength to the trough floor.
Standing type (FRB)
2530 x 1000mm and holds up to 300 litres. The wider bath suits use with a portable yard where you’re holding animals in the solution for a period. More solution, more animals standing at once.

Lamb feeders and sheep footbath questions
How do divisional lambars stop stronger lambs stealing the milk?
Each teat has its own compartment behind it holding a set ration. A lamb can only draw what’s in its own division, so the strong ones can’t work along the rail taking everyone else’s. It also stops cross-suckling.
Which size lamb feeder do I need?
The 2L bottle and the 5L single teat feeder suit one or two orphan lambs. The 30L five teat and 40L eight teat lambars suit shed rearing, and the eight teat is the one most commercial operations run.
Can I use a calf feeder for lambs?
Not with calf teats. The feeders themselves are the same design, but calves use peach teats and lambs use lamb teats, which are a different shape and flow rate. Order the lamb range, or fit lamb teats.
Can I buy lamb teats and caps separately?
Yes. Teats and caps are consumables and are sold individually, so you can replace them without replacing the feeder.
What’s the difference between the two footbaths?
The standing type (FRB) is 1000mm wide and holds up to 300 litres, for use with a portable yard where stock stand in the solution. The race type (RFRB) is 480mm wide and holds up to 80 litres, sized to sit in a sheep race with a pyramid rib down the centre that keeps hooves either side and cuts the solution needed.
Can I link footbaths together?
Yes, both models have an end to end linking feature. The race type in particular is designed for it, so you can run a longer bath through a race.
Can I use a footbath for cattle or horses?
No. Both models are designed for sheep and goats and are not recommended for cattle or horses.
Will the footbath handle treatment chemicals?
The baths are fully chemical resistant and won’t rot, rust or flake.
