Closed Head Drums
Polymaster’s closed head drums are a safe and effective solution for storing and dosing aggressive chemicals, including chlorine. Available in 110L and 210L, with and without an integrated bund, they allow you to decant, store, mix, and dispense chemicals on site.
Manufactured from UV-stabilised polyethylene, these tanks will not corrode when used with aggressive chemicals, giving you greater security on site. Available with or without secondary containment bunding.

Chemical Dosing Unit Specifications
Polymaster’s closed head drum range is available in two capacities with bunded and non-bunded configurations. All tanks are rated for contents up to 1.5SG and comply with AS3780-2008 and AS/NZS 4766:2020.

Designed for Chlorine Dosing and Aggressive Chemical Storage
The ideal set-up for dosing chlorine in an easy-to-use system is for a dosing pump to be mounted directly to a Polymaster closed head drum. The flat, rigid top with 4 x 8mm stainless nutserts as standard makes pump mounting straightforward, and the provision for a generic stainless pump mounting bracket means integration with common dosing pump systems is simple.

Integrated Bund Options for Secondary Containment
The CHD110+BUND and CHD210+BUND variants include an integrated bund designed to contain any leakage or spillage from the tank. This is required under AS3780-2008, The Storage and Handling of Corrosive Substances, for sites storing corrosive liquids where spill containment is mandatory.
Using an integrated bunded unit removes the need to construct a separate earth or concrete bund around a standalone tank. The bund is moulded as part of the unit, so there are no joins or penetrations to maintain. This is a practical option for indoor chemical rooms, outdoor dispensing areas, and applications where the tank may need to be relocated.
